Kit Harrington says he was diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) while staying at a rehab clinic. On ‘The Hidden 20%’ podcast, Harrington explained that his diagnosis helped him move on from his past struggles. “I realized that my life was hinging on this. Luckily, it was the right place at the right time. I managed to forge a new life from there”, said Harrington. The ‘Game of Thrones’ star has been open about his issues with alcohol and mental health, especially since the popular show ended in 2019. He said his diagnosis aids him in being sober and “present” in the lives of his two children, whom he shares with his wife, Rose Leslie. However, Harrington admitted his condition presents some challenges in parenting as he can become overwhelmed very easily.
