Khloe Kardashian finally takes newborn son home to meet daughter following

Khloe Kardashian and ex-boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s second baby was conceived via surrogate, before she learned he had fathered a child with fitness model Maralee Nichols in March 2021 while they were still dating.

Following the news that the reality star, 38, and basketball player, 31, have another child imminently on the way, fans were quick to point out that Nichols’ pregnancy preceded the date Kardashian’s gestational carrier was inseminated.

Nichols, 31, conceived her six-month-old son Theo with the NBA star on his 30th birthday in mid-March just hours after he professed his love for Kardashian under a sweet birthday tribute she shared on her Instagram.

Nichols gave birth to Thompson’s third child, on December 1, though Tristan initially denied the infant was his until receiving the results of a paternity test.

In January 2022, the Chicago Bulls star admitted to being Theo’s father and penned a public apology to Khloe for his repeated philandering.

‘You don’t deserve this. You don’t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you. You don’t deserve the way I have treated you over the years,’ Tristan, who has yet to meet little Theo, wrote.

Khloe previously revealed that she felt ‘numb’ after her older sister Kim broke the gut-wrenching news to her about Tristan’s secret child.

‘That was hard,’ she told USA Today. ‘I think the first time [Tristan cheated] it was either Kendall or Kylie that called me. Now it’s good old Kim.’

Khloe said she’s now ‘become numb’ to the pain, but that it doesn’t ‘make things any easier’ on her.

‘When you’re hurt so many times — your reactions, your responses to the same thing happening over and over again — there is a numbing sensation to it,’ the mother-of-one confessed.

After learning the news, while cameras rolled during the inaugural season of Hulu’s The Kardashians, Khloe vented to Kim that she was ‘fine’ but said it’s ‘so f***ed up that society blames’ women for getting cheated on.

‘It’s disgusting and deplorable of these people to talk about other people like that,’ she said. ‘There’s no empathy and no compassion. There’s just no sense of humanity.’

Meanwhile, Kim said she was ‘proud of Khloe’ for giving her relationship a second chance and knowing when to call it quits.

‘Even after he dogged her and embarrassed the s*** out of her. When the whole world is looking at you, laughing at you, calling you every name in the book – do you know how hard that is? That is ten times harder to stay in a situation than it is to leave,’ the mom-of-four stated. 

Kardashian’s rep confirmed the news of baby number two in a statement to DailyMail.com, which revealed the baby was conceived last fall.

‘We can confirm True will have a sibling who was conceived in November,’ the statement began.

‘Khloe is incredibly grateful to the extraordinary surrogate for such a beautiful blessing. We’d like to ask for kindness and privacy so that Khloe can focus on her family.’

A source close to the family insisted that Khloe and Tristan are ‘not back together’ and ‘haven’t spoken to one another since December outside of co-parenting matters.’

Though the baby’s arrival was confirmed in August, the first episode of season two of Hulu’s The Kardashians revealed that Tristan and Khloe’s son was born on July 28 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
