ST. CLAIRSVILLE — There is one undeniable truth about the period between Thanksgiving and New Year’s Day: It is always a very busy time to shop.

To accommodate that, the Ohio Valley Mall created a calendar of its hours of operation for the holiday season.

The schedule was carefully formulated based upon historical data, consultation with merchants and a desire to meet the changing needs and desires of consumers. The calendar of hours appears below.

At the same time, the management staff of Ohio Valley Mall will continue to foster the traditions, festivity and joy of the season. Santa Claus will be available to hear the Christmas wishes of children, beginning Nov. 19. A variety of other activities will be announced in the coming weeks.

The 2022 Holiday Season hours are as follows:

∫ Nov. 24 (Thanksgiving) closed;

∫ Nov. 25 (Black Friday) — 6 a.m to 9 p.m.;

∫ Nov. 26 — 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.;

∫ Nov. 27 — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.;

∫ Nov. 28-Dec. 3 — 10 a.m to 9 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 4 — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 5-10 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 11 — 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 12-14 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 15-16 — 10 a.m. to 10 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 17 (Super Saturday) and Dec. 18 (Super Sunday) ­– 9 a.m to 10 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 19-23 — 9 a.m. to 10 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 24 (Christmas Eve) — 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 25 (Christmas) — Closed;

∫ Dec. 26-30 — 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.;

∫ Dec. 31 (New Year’s Eve) 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.;

∫ Jan. 1 (New Year’s Day) 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
