Shailene Woodley feels ‘nurtured’ after Aaron Rodgers breakup

Shailene Woodley gave her Instagram followers a life update after her breakup with Aaron Rodgers, gushing about how “nurtured” she feels.

“To the month of june : putting macro whack world events aside for a minute, on a micro level, you nurtured this woman’s head + heart,” the “Big Little Lies” alum, 30, captioned an Instagram selfie Wednesday.

“You gave me oxygen in the form of friends, babies, trees, magic, DANCING, animals, salt, sun, deep conversations, six packs from laughing, availability in the form of tears, PLAY, sunrises, hallway tag, goofiness, spontaneity, pita bread (so much pita!), hellos and goodbyes,” she continued.

Woodley went on to write that a “beautiful wise Italian in New York” told her she was going to have the “best month ever,” noting that the prediction was “not wrong.”

As for Rodgers, the 38-year-old NFL player has also been giving his Instagram followers updates, most recently documenting a trip to Switzerland.

News broke in April that he had split from the Golden Globe nominee — two months after the on-again, off-again couple reportedly called off their engagement.

Woodley and the professional football player began dating amid the coronavirus pandemic, shocking fans in February 2021 when they revealed their surprise romance.

Three weeks later, the Emmy nominee debuted her engagement ring. When confirming the news to Jimmy Fallon, Woodley admitted that she had been engaged “for awhile.”

The “Divergent” star said, “For us it’s not new news, so it’s kind of funny everybody right now is freaking out over it.”

Woodley told the Hollywood Reporter in July 2021 that she and the athlete kept quiet about his proposal for “months and months.”

The actress called the public’s reaction “really a lot,” explaining, “We were like, ‘Let’s just politely decline [to talk about the relationship] for a little while and live in our little bubble.’”
